APASA x ISA Fashion Show
Last Friday, APASA and ISA held the very first APA fashion show; the purpose of the event was to celebrate the cultural clothes around Asia and the diversity of our culture. It was a fun event that I think everyone could enjoy. People gathered to support the contestants and enjoyed free milkshakes.
Meanwhile, the contestants did a great job in presenting their outfits. Some wore their traditional outfits while others took their own modern twists to create cool fashion designs. Many of them, I felt, were great outfits for everyday wear. In the end however, the people decided and they awarded Brian Dinh for his modern take on his cultural robe; it was a brilliant outfit that integrated his blue robe with Western-style outfit underneath. Congrats to him! Overall, it was a good event and we are thankful ISA spearheaded the event!
